1971 Lectures

A marathon session held by Parker at the Visual Studies Workshop in April 1971. He begins with a lengthy presentation on Jungian ideas in relation to images, with particular emphasis on archetypes. Parker then applies the Jungian framework to the work of Jerry Uelsmann and Les Krims. There are notable contributions by Nathan Lyons. Stretching deep into the midnight hours, the session was eerily complemented by  pigeons cooing in the rafters.
